What I've Built.
A curated selection of my latest design and development work.

La-um's Conquest: Version 1
Traditional educational tools often fail to capture the complexity of pre-colonial Philippine history and mythology. We developed La-um’s Conquest, a pixel-art RPG that transforms historical research into an immersive, interactive journey through indigenous folklore and ancient deities.

La-um's Conquest: Version 2
While the initial version of La-um’s Conquest introduced the world, it required a more cohesive and professional visual identity to truly honor its cultural roots. I spearheaded a complete pixel art revamp, modernizing the top-down aesthetic to create a more immersive and polished experience of pre-colonial Philippine mythology.

What the Facts?!?
With the rapid spread of misinformation, users often lack the practical skills to distinguish between credible sources and fake news. I developed What the Facts?!?, a 3D mobile game that transforms fact-checking into an immersive, interactive training experience. By challenging players to verify information in a gamified environment, this project empowers users with the critical thinking skills needed to navigate digital media safely.

The Diver
Game jams often struggle to balance atmospheric storytelling with tight mechanics, especially within the constraints of a specific theme like "Aqua." Working with a team for Pixel Jam 2024, we developed a psychological horror game using a self-imposed, minimalist black-and-white palette to heighten the sense of isolation and dread. Our focus on atmospheric cohesion and polished feedback loops earned us high marks across the board, ranking 18th in Mechanics, 19th in Fun and Engagement, and 21st in Music and Sounds out of hundreds of entries.
